The International Cybersecurity Workshop — IWCS 2026-S1 is part of the cycle of preparatory events for the International Cybersecurity and Digital Education Conference (CyberConfEdu) and will have as its theme “AI and LLMs in Digital Research and Education”.
The meeting will bring together researchers, professors, and professionals to discuss applications of Artificial Intelligence and Large-Scale Language Models (LLMs) in the processes of collecting, preserving, analyzing, and interpreting digital evidence , with an emphasis on technical, ethical, legal, and educational aspects. The event will have simultaneous translation in Portuguese and Spanish.
Publication: Approved papers will be evaluated for publication in the proceedings and articles of the CyberConfEdu journal (open access, double-blind peer review).

This workshop on artificial intelligence is part of the International Conference on Cybersecurity and Digital Education (Cyber•Conf•Edu) , a four-year journey dedicated to collaborative and academic advancements in education and cybersecurity.
Until 2027, biannual workshops will serve as fundamental steps to discuss trends, share best practices, and strengthen the international community dealing with cybersecurity and digital education.
Each edition addresses relevant and emerging themes, preparing the groundwork for the major conference in 2027. These meetings consolidate the foundation for a global event that will bring together professionals, faculty, and students engaged in building a safer and more responsible digital future.
Call for Papers
CyberConfEdu encourages the participation of undergraduate students, faculty, researchers, and professionals in the production of scientific articles and other bibliographic works in science and technology, in the areas of education and cybersecurity.
