On June 20th, at the third edition of the International Cybersecurity Workshop, the lawyer Marcelo Sayago will give a talk on how advances in AI have affected trust in the digital world.

Artificial intelligence is transforming digital communication and amplifying the challenges related to fraud, phishing, deepfakes, and corporate identity theft. This presentation proposes a reflection on how the loss of digital trust can generate financial, operational, reputational, and legal impacts on companies. Practical examples involving digital exposure, spoofing, website compromise, and social engineering enhanced by AI will be presented, in addition to discussing common vulnerabilities that increase the attack surface in organizations. Finally, digital protection practices and mechanisms supported by artificial intelligence applied to the corporate context will be addressed.

Marcelo Sayago is a lawyer, systems analyst, and technologist in Cyber ​​Defense from IBPTECH, specializing in cybersecurity, infrastructure, and digital governance, with nearly two decades of experience in the technology and information security field.
